Hello, my name is Ben and I am officially starting at WCC in the fall... yay Comp Sci.
I am interested in starting up a roleplaying game that I have been developing for the past year or so, one unlike other roleplaying games that may exist out there. My game is a cartoon fantasy (genre) live-action roleplaying game. The current working title (which can be changed.... eventually... is Animondo.
Why do I feel like half my audience just disappeared?
I am aware of the somewhat negative reputation these games have been given over the years, with good light only being shed upon them recently in movies like Role Models (kickass, see it if you haven't already), but please do yourself a favor, forget every preconcieved notion, every rumor, every stereotype you've ever heard with regards to role playing games, live action or otherwise.
Anyways, this is, as I mentioned before, cartoon fantasy genre. That basically means a game comprised of shit from every slapstick cartoon (Looney Tunes, Dick Dastardley/Muttley, Tom & Jerry, etc) wrapped together into one neat game. Classes, skills, character races, and the ability to defy the laws of physics... in game of course.
http://animondo.pbworks.com is the website, please check it out and get a feel for the game (I worked really hard on it), or search for the Facebook page I have set up. And do look out for fliers for the general interest meeting, slated to happen some time shortly after the semester begins.
Or head to the Facebook page below and post on our message board, become a fan, and help spread the word about this wacky game.
